If we move here I have a feeling this might just be our hangout.Source: Federal Aviation Administration This is a place that has a fairly significant local clientele, yet is welcoming to visitors like my wife and I. We returned the next day with a friend who retired in the area for lunch (it was good) and the day after that just to stop by and sit at the bar and visit with the locals and Sandy. When we went to pay the bill was only $14! Three beers and a call drink? My kind of place! We ordered another round with my wife having another beer and me, a Crown/7. There are lots of TV's around so you can catch your favorite game or you can just visit if you wish. The place is clean, not smoky or dingy, and there are a number of low chairs and tables throughout the building so one can sit with friends. We chatted briefly and she left us to ourselves to look through our stuff. We happened to arrive during happy hour so we started with 2 draft beers. She is friendly and wants your name immediately so she can call you by your first name. Sandy is a woman who has the perfect personality for a bar owner. We had a ton of real estate magazines and local literature to look through, so we sat off to the side so we could talk quietly. She told us to sit where we liked and she would be over soon to get our orders. Once we walked in we were greeted warmly by the owner, Sandy. ![]() We decided to stop in as it was about 110 degrees and we were ready for a break. ![]() On the south end of Bullhead City on Hwy 95, one will find a large sign proclaiming "Cocktails". While I'm not afraid of biker bars, my wife wanted to go somewhere she felt comfortable as we weren't on the bikes this trip. one day, we were looking for a bar that looked inviting, not too fancy and not too rough. We did quite of bit of time investigating the area, looking at different neighborhoods and meeting with locals. My wife and I recently traveled to the Bullhead City area to do some scouting about possibly relocating here in the future.
